10 Obvious Horror Movies Goofs We Can't Believe We Missed The First Time
3. Disappearing Blood - Blade
As this list has already shown, one thing you can always count on in a movie about blood-sucking beings is a ton of plasma. And a quite evident continuity goof, apparently.
That was precisely what occurred during the classic 1998 Stephen Norrington-directed action-horror ride that was Wesley Snipes' first appearance as Blade, with the aforementioned blood being at the centre of a mistake that surprisingly hasn't been found by all that many viewers - even after many a glorious watch!
In the scene when Deacon Frost takes pure-blood Gitano Dragonetti, the leader of the House of Erebus, onto a beach and pulls out his fangs just before sunrise, that act actually comes with a pretty glaring error.
There's clearly blood pouring out of Dragonetti's mouth soon after he's had his first tooth yanked out. But when the scene cuts to the part when the next one is pulled, his chin is weirdly clean.
Even with this being a relatively quick moment, it's still obvious that the blood just disappears for a bit before returning later on. And again, someone not keeping an eye on the scene's continuity or the running out of fake red stuff on the day likely contributed to this inconsistency making its way onto the screen.
Whatever the reason, the end result is still the same: vanishing bodily fluid that will now be impossible to unsee.
