10 Oddly Specific Genres That Were Briefly Hugely Popular

8. Where Is Harrison Ford's Wife And/Or Family?

Harrison Ford gets a lifetime pass for playing both Han Solo and Indiana Jones, two of the most iconic characters in the history of cinema. He also carved out a nice sideline as one of the biggest movie stars on the planet for almost three decades as a result, which invariably involved him trying to find out what happened to his loved ones.

Known affectionately among fans as 'Harrison Ford's Finger of Doom', the actor usually ends up pointing the digit in question at those he believes are involved in his frequent quests to discover what's happened to his wife and/or his children. It isn't even limited to one genre either, with his desperate please featuring in everything from his action-orientated Jack Ryan movies, Air Force One and The Fugitive to more straightforward dramas and thrillers like Frantic, Random Hearts and even the interminable Firewall.

Nobody messes with Harrison Ford's family, because the man always gets results, and probably would have lost out on half of the biggest hits of his career if his character enjoyed a life of domestic bliss.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
