Real Job: Seller Of Booze The advert for Suntory Whiskey is so bad I almost feel sorry for Sean Connery, but apparently he really needed the money (don't they all?) so he agreed to do a commercial. The bad news for fans of Sean Connery is that if he could understand prose meant for children he wouldn't have had to make any commercials at all. CNN once reported he was offered up to 15% of the world wide box office receipts to take on the role of Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, which would've netted him almost £400 million. Unfortunately, he couldn't understand the script so turned it down.
