10 Oscar Winners That Also 'Won' Razzies

1. Laurence Olivier

It seems ridiculous that Laurence Olivier, one of the greatest actors in history, would even be the recipient of one Razzie award, let alone two. After all, this is a man that won two honorary Academy Awards on top of his win for Best Actor in 1949 (one of eleven nominations, ten for acting and one for directing) as well as three Golden Globes, five Emmys, and three BAFTAs during one of the most distinguished stage and screen careers of all-time. Interestingly, Olivier won both of the Razzie awards he was ever nominated for, and both movies were released less than six months apart. First came Worst Supporting Actor in 1981 for his role in The Jazz Singer, the critically and commercially poorly-received remake of the seminal Al Jolson movie that signaled the rise of the 'talkie'. A year later came a Worst Actor award for the notorious Inchon, the Korean War flick widely regarded as one of the biggest commercial disasters in Hollywood history that earned just over $5m on a $46m budget, and is often labelled as one of the worst movies ever made. It just goes to show; no matter how good an actor you are or how big your reputation is, nobody is deemed to be above a Razzie. Any we've missed? Share your picks below in the comments thread.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
