Sofia Coppola's performance in The Godfather Part III has become the stuff of legend, simply because it is awful. Wisely, the daughter of Francis Ford decided her future wasn't in front of the camera but behind it, and Sofia has gone on to reinvent herself as a critically-acclaimed writer and director, with the undoubted high point being her Best Original Screenplay Academy Award for Lost in Translation. Coppola has only made a handful of acting appearances since being awarded the Razzie for Worst Supporting Actress for her efforts in the final chapter of the Godfather trilogy, but actually picked up another nomination in the same category for a brief appearance in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. While she has since to match the critical and commercial success of her breakout feature that also landed Academy Award nominations for Best Picture and Best Director, at least the world won't have to be subjected to her cringeworthy attempts at acting anymore.
I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
