When it came to winning both an Academy Award and a Razzie, Halle Berry made history. Three years after becoming the first (and so far only) woman of color to win the prestigious Best Actress prize for her work in Monster's Ball in 2002, Berry also became the first female star to collect their Golden Raspberry award for Worst Actress in person, because not even she could deny how awful Catwoman was. But hey, at least it came with a $12.5m payday. Since winning an Academy Award on her first and only nomination, Berry has failed to replicate that success on either the big or small screen, but it did show great humility on her part to turn up and collect her Razzie for her terrible performance in the notorious superhero disaster. Selflessly mocking her famously tearful speech at the Oscars, Berry made sure to thank studio Warner Bros. for casting her in what she called 'a piece of sh*t god-awful movie'.
I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
