10 Outlandish Avengers: Age Of Ultron Rumours

4. Iron Man's End

Seeing as Iron Man 3 came out before Avengers: Age of Ultron, Tony Stark appearing to give up his armoured identity at the end felt strangely out of place. As it turns out, he's still serving as Iron Man when Avengers: Age of Ultron starts, but he and Bruce Banner have also created an A.I. police force in order to ensure that the Earth is always protected. However, Loki's staff coming into contact with that A.I. will lead to the creation of Ultron, and the devastation which follows will leave Stark guilt-ridden. It's not exactly a reach to assume that Earth's Mightiest Heroes will be triumphant by the time the credits roll, but what kind of state will the team be left in? Well, it sounds like they'll be without Iron Man at least. Disillusioned by the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Stark apparently puts being Iron Man on the back burner and turns his focus to an even better way of protecting people: the Superhuman Registration Act. That will be the lead in to Captain America: Civil War next year, and it's this sequel which will reportedly put that entire story into motion.
