2. Superman Dies
Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice is apparently set two years after the events of Man of Steel. In that time, both Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor have used their considerable fortunes to help rebuild Metropolis, and Superman has continued to serve as the city's protector. However, set photos have revealed a number of anti-Superman protesters. The widespread destruction of Metropolis during Superman's fight with Zod has clearly led to a lot of ill will against him, and it's that which makes the presence of a giant Superman statue extremely baffling. Perhaps then that explains the rumours that it's erected following the death of Superman during his battle in this movie with Doomsday. This particular rumour is hard to believe for a number of reasons. Excluding Superman from Justice League makes little to no sense, and wasting time finding a way to resurrect him in that movie or the next just doesn't seem like a smart move. Doomsday might end up being in Batman V Superman, but that doesn't mean he'll end up killing Supes.
