The Rumour: Back in the 1990s, it was rumoured that the Speed star had married gay philanthropist David Geffen in a secret ceremony. Oh, and he's immortal - as evidenced by his lack of obvious physical aging.
The Truth: The marriage rumour, started by a French magazine, turned out to be pure fabrication. According to Geffen himself, the two haven't even met, which would seem an important part of the wooing process. He spoke to TIME in March 1995: "I hear that I'm supposed to be married to. Keanu Reeves. I've never met or laid eyes on ." And he's not immortal - only Nicholas Cage is. Crueller commenters would perhaps suggest that Reeve's lack of aging has more to do with not using his facial muscles in his acting career so far.
