And finally, it'd be rude not to recognise the movie's absolutely killer signature tune, "On Our Own" by Bobby Brown.

The hit tune appears several times throughout the movie (most notably when the team suits up to fight Vigo) and is a deliciously infectious groove even if it's understandably overlooked in favour of Ray Parker Jr's unforgettable, iconic main Ghostbusters theme.

It's a catchy R&B lick that realises the can-do attitude of the titular team, and the preposterous lyrics often sum up the movie's plot to an hilariously specific degree ("Had ’em throwin’ a party for a bunch of children / While all of the while the slime was under the building").

Seriously, just try not to hum along with it during the movie. It's impossible.
