Purely from a technical standpoint, the Star Wars prequels are some of the best made films in recent memory. Because while the direction of the actors could be a bit lacking at times, the direction of the set was spot on and the phenomenal camerawork and editing were absolutely stunning.

Every single battle was done justice, every single action scene was framed perfectly, and there was absolutely no wasted effort on the part of those behind the camera. Say what you will about the concept of pod racing, but there's no denying that the scene of the race itself was beautifully put together.

The same could easily be said for such action scenes as the Battle of Geonosis, with the Jedi Order in its prime being masterfully captured, plus the wonderful space battles mentioned earlier in this list. In addition, even the non-action scenes are shot in a very engaging way. Nothing feels off or out of place with the way each and every scene is filmed, and the dramatic editing in such scenes as Anakin and Padme's silent reflections towards the end of Episode III or the fall of the Jedi Order under Order 66 is absolutely perfect.

A film-loving wrestling fan from west Texas who will live and die by the statement that Return of the Jedi is the best Star Wars movie and unironically cherishes the brief moment and time when Deuce & Domino were WWE Tag Team Champions. Hates honey, but loves honey mustard.
