3. Meat Hooked
Examples: Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, The Midnight Meat Train. I can't even begin to imagine how painful this would be. As previously touched upon in the last entry, some horror icons like to hang their victims up - sometimes to save them for later, sometimes just to admire their handiwork - by hanging them up on a meat hook (or just on a hook in general, in some cases, such as Michael Myers in Halloween). It must be absolutely excruciating having a sharp object shoved into your spine and then have it bear the brunt of your bodyweight while you hang on it. In some cases, it can even lead to paralysis after the initial pain, meaning escape is even more difficult than it already would have been (and, given that you generally can't reach the point at which the hook goes in to your back, it's pretty damn difficult to escape from in the first place). Leatherface particularly likes doing this to his victims, as does Mahogany from The Midnight Meat Train.
