5. Sandra Bullock & Camilla Belle As Sally Owens - Practical Magic
When I first saw Practical Magic, I was young enough to not understand that children were hired to be younger versions of adult protagonists. I mean, I understood, but I guess I thought that they could only hire children within the actor's family. So, Sandra Bullock and Camilla Belle's pairing could not have been more uncanny. Belle was only twelve when she took on the role of young Sally Owens, but she pulled it off expertly. This movie is still one of my favorites and I find it so amazing that, with all of the young and adult matches in it, Bullock and Belle are the most convincing. Even now, fifteen years later, the two could be related. I think it's the eyes, not just the color, but the shape. Perhaps the brows? The sculpted noses? I can't be sure, but they should definitely pair up again, if not as the same character at different ages, then as mother and daughter.
