10 People Brave Enough To Accept Their Razzie Awards

2. Michael Ferris - Worst Screenplay For Catwoman

Comic book movie adaptations can often be hit or miss, but rarely are they so woefully misguided as Pitof's Catwoman. If any film comes close to the godfather of bad comic book movies, Batman And Robin, then that film is Catwoman. Screenwriter Michael Ferris's career might not be quite as sparse and unimpressive as David J. Shapiro's - he's credited with writing on The Game, Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines and Surrogates along with co-writer John Brancato - but even these average-at-best films don't compensate for the awfulness that is Catwoman. Ferris saw the funny side of being awarded a Razzie - while collecting his trophy, he thanked the awards for helping to boost sales of the Catwoman DVD.
