8. Dormammu

Although it seems unlikely that Dormammu will even have made his full on-screen debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the time Infinity War comes around, he shouldn't be ruled out as a possible accomplice for Thanos. Dormammu could be revealed in the Doctor Strange mid/post-credit scenes as someone who, like Thanos, has been operating in the shadows for some time - as such, he would make a great like-for-like partner for the Mad Titan. His massive mystical power would compliment the cosmic abilities of Thanos brilliantly, giving the duo a vast array of abilities to use against the heroes who stand against them. Moreover, he is one of the few non-cosmic beings in the comic books whose power is at a similar level to the Mad Titan's and, as such, it makes sense that he might initially join forces with him in order to ultimately gain the power of the Infinity Stones for himself.
