10 Perfect Casting Choices to Support Ben Affleck's Batman
8. Eva Green Talia Al Ghul
Eva Green is the modern day femme fatale; if she had been around in the 1950s she would have dominated cinema: her performances in the 300 and Sin City sequels were spectacular and lit up the otherwise dull films. Its safe to say Marion Cotillard left a bit to be desired in her portrayal of Talia in The Dark Knight Rises. It wasnt that it was poor, its just the twist at the end was fairly predictable for anyone with a faint knowledge of Batmans comic history - not to mention awareness of pre-production, which basically spoiled it. It would be interesting to see Talia in a far more active role; a chance for her to really showcase how deadly the daughter of the Demon can be (again, qualities Eva Green clearly displayed in the 300 sequel). With DC expanding their cinematic universe, its only a matter of time before the League of Assassins makes a return, and where they are, Talia al Ghul and her father are not far behind.
