Stephanie Brown is the daughter of a third-rate Batman villain Cluemaster and spends her childhood resenting him, deciding to take matters into her own hands when she discovers her father has returned to a life of crime. That's not to mention the fact that cinema needs more female heroes, and with the rich and wide range of characters available its disappointing that Marvel and DC arent quite as willing to take the risk.
