Instead, Benedict Cumberbatch will portray the sorcerer supreme and it seems like a a match made in heaven.

Doctor Strange is not the typical superhero. Professionally, he forges his own path and stays above many of the Avengers’ petty squabbles. Personally, he’s prone to arrogance and struggles to find any humility, especially considering his fantastic abilities. In his years playing Sherlock Holmes, Cumberbatch has these characteristics down to a science, and will no doubt stun audiences with his believable interpretation of this new big shot in the MCU.
