There are multiple reasons that Colin Farrell would make an interesting choice for Nathan Drake. For starters, he's already worked with director Seth Gordon on Horrible Bosses and is returning for the sequel due out later this year. A large reason the series is so successful is because of good comedic performances from guys like Farrell, along with some equally hilarious and fluid chemistry between his co-stars. This is something Colin excels at outside of Seth's movies too, especially in Seven Psychopaths. Both of these are also a necessity for bringing Nathan Drake to life, considering that a large portion of the game's cut scenes consists of the heroes bantering between each other and playing off of each other's thoughts for laughs. Farrell also some action film credentials in films like Dead Man Down and Total Recall. Neither of those films are particularly any good €“ which can't be blamed on Colin €“ but he most definitely shares an uncanny resemblance to Nathan Drake in Total Recall.
