3. Hugh Jackman As Kraven The Hunter
Would Hugh Jackman want to jump back into comic book acting so soon after closing the book on his legendary performance as Wolverine? Only he can know for sure, and if he decides he’s had enough of the comic book world, no one could say he didn’t give it his all.
However, while we’re doing fantasy casting, we can park that and focus on just how great a Kraven he would be.
Sony have Kraven The Hunter in the pipeline, with the idea being that (similar to Tom Hardy’s Venom), it’ll cross over into the MCU at some point.
This means it would take place in the same universe as Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, but Holland himself likely won’t feature in the initial film. Regardless, Hugh Jackman’s gruff, visceral acting makes him the perfect fit for the role.
We’re three Tobey Maguire, two Andrew Garfield and two Tom Holland Spidey movies in, and after those seven, none of them have tackled Kraven’s Last Hunt? Surely we’ll be seeing it on the big screen in the future.
