The Movie(s): A young teen who skateboards goes on a series of time-travelling adventures with a man three times his age. His girlfriend is super-hot and can transform into Elizabeth Shue.
The "Perfect" Girlfriend: Jennifer Parker is, at first glance, the epitome of the great '80s movie girlfriend. Not only does she wait for Marty at school to warn him that he's going to get another tardy slip in the film's first six minutes, she does so at
her own peril. She's completely lenient of his skateboarding habits and constantly bigs him up and encourages him to follow his dreams. When - at the end of the first movie - she finds out about time travel, she's completed unfazed by the prospects and gets into a time-machine without asking any questions. Jennifer is also super-enthusiastic about "going up to the lake for the weekend," which we all know is a really hot euphemism. For fishing.
Why She Would Suck In Real Life: Well, Jennifer isn't... very consistent. At first, she's smart and cool and, and then, um, maybe her brain gets broken when she travels through the space-time continuum or something, because she becomes considerably dumber in the space of a couple of hours. She also becomes more annoying, something which Marty doesn't seem to notice, proving that she's probably always been the sum of two personalities, and that's what you'd have to deal with day in, day out. Nope: abandon her in the alternative 1985, thank you very much.
