5. Megan And Michael Act Their Age

There are many things you can do and say that are likely not to endear you to your colleagues, and equating your director to Adolf Hitler is right up there with the best of them. Megan Fox was the breakout star of Michael Bay’s Transformers saga, appearing in the original and the sequel, but the threepeat was off the cards after relations between the two broke down in a particularly ugly fashion.

Fox spoke about Bay’s directorial style, describing him as a dictator who mistreated his actors. To illustrate her point further, she ill advisedly incurred the names of some famous historical wrong’uns, including Napoleon and the aforementioned Fuhrer.

Bay didn’t take kindly to this, and reportedly enlisted several Transformers crew members to pen an open letter defending their boss and insulting Fox in a manner that ranged from childish to outright misogynistic. Bay’s efforts to damage Fox’s career worked, for the most part - she hasn’t really recovered from this particular incident, and was removed from the Transformers franchise at the behest of producer Stephen Spielberg.
