10 Plot Holes Everyone Ignores In Pixar Movies

2. A Convenient Lapse In Security - Toy Story 3

The announcement of a Toy Story 4 in the pipeline didn't exactly instill fans with optimism - maybe they'd learned from Cars 2 that Pixar sequels weren't necessarily a good idea, or perhaps they simply felt that it works fine as a trilogy, bringing the adventures of the toys to a neat conclusion. Toy Story 3 doesn't really have any major faults - it's as entertaining and visually stimulating as the previous two films. However, it does have a plot hole big enough for a box of toys to fall through. After Woody and the gang arrive at Sunnyside on the first night, Buzz leaves the safety of their room and explores the building. As he does this no security measures kick into gear, yet Woody later discovers they operate every night and that the surveillance is complete with modern camera systems which run 24/7. How come these failed to capture his jaunt around the building? Perhaps more importantly, if these cameras are running all the time, why have no humans ever seen footage of toys talking to one another? Perhaps the security guard always sleeps on the job.
