8. Adam West (Family Guy)
On his first appearance as the Mayor of Quohog, it sort of seemed like a single episode cameo by the former Caped Crusader. But soon it became evident that Adam West's Mayor was going to be a permanent fixture on the show. From rolling around in radioactive waste to firing cats from a crossbow, Adam West has proven to be one of Family Guy's best side characters. Pretty much any time a celebrity plays himself, it's sort of a given that they're portraying an exaggerated version. But watching the animated West, and his deep, intense love of taffy, you sort of can't help but think "That can't be what he's like in real life... or is it?"
