1. Batman Beyond

From the second it was announced that the 68 year-old Michael Keaton was set to play Bruce Wayne once again, fans instantly crossed their fingers in the hope that the long-rumored live-action Batman Beyond movie could finally become a reality.

Having once been in the works 20 years ago in an attempt to reinvent the Dark Knight on the big screen after Batman & Robin had torpedoed the entire franchise, the studio got cold feet at such a drastic departure and ultimately turned their intentions towards a more straightforward reboot, which worked out pretty well in the end given that it led to Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy.

However, Batman Beyond is still right at the very top of the wish-list when it comes to Batman movies that people would love to see, and whether through accident or design the studio have now created the ideal opportunity to finally bring Terry McGinnis and the cyberpunk-influenced Neo Gotham to life.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
