10 Post-Credits Scenes Avengers: Age Of Ultron Should Have Had

8. Thor's Homecoming

Thor didn't get much screen time in the final movie, so this would have been a way of making it up to him, while also bringing anyone who missed Thor: The Dark World up to speed and giving a little love to the Avengers' first villain. Thanks to events of The Dark World, Loki is now masquerading as Thor's father. The idea of Thor telling him about the Infinity Stone situation - and dropping in some further words about how foolish and deluded Loki was to try to wield one - could have been darkly funny and motivate Loki to do something regrettable in search of another Stone, something which could then lead into Thor: Ragnarok in 2017. While the plot of that movie is not well-defined at this point, its title suggests a dark apocalypse, the "twilight of the gods," and that's just the sort of thing an Infinity Stone might bring about. Why It May Not Have Happened: Thor: Ragnarok doesn't have a director yet, and that director would want to be involved in such a scene. Rumor has it that Marvel is courting Kenneth Brannagh to come back, since his Thor movie was much better-received than Thor: The Dark World. Also, Loki as Odin may be too sweet a setup for Loki to blow his cover too early.
