10 Post-Credits Scenes That Totally Trolled Audiences

9. Ash Cameo - Evil Dead (2013)

The Scene: Ash (Bruce Campbell) from the original Evil Dead series is pictured in silhouette, and as the music builds to a creepy crescendo, he utters his signature line, "Groovy", before he quickly turns to the camera, and the music again ramps up.

Why It Trolled Audiences: So, director Fede Alvarez managed to convince Bruce Campbell to film a small stinger, and this is all he did with it? They couldn't have stretched to give Campbell a cameo in the movie?

Instead, this is basically saying to audiences, "Hey, remember the most awesome thing about the original Evil Dead movies? Yeah, here he is...for like 9 seconds. Have fun with that."

Considering the constant discussion about a fourth Evil Dead film starring Campbell, a sly tease about that would have been awesome, and given that both Sam Raimi and Campbell were producers on this movie, we're pretty sure they could've hooked that up.
