10 Potentially Awesome DTV Action Movies Coming In 2014
9. Cyborg Nemesis
Cyborg Nemesis is about a special ops team who wakes up from a hypersleep in a locked down underground laboratory facility. They have no memory of who they are or why they are there. Soon they discover that they are not alone in the complex. A creature has broken in. This will be director Albert Pyuns last movie as he announced his retirement due to health issues in 2013. Pyun also directed the late 80s Van Damme movie Cyborg which Cyborg Nemesis actually is a belated sequel to. Smart readers will notice that Cyborg Nemesis is a fusion of two titles Pyun previously directed, Cyborg, of course, and 1992s Nemesis starring Olivier Gruner. Gruner is also starring in Cyborg Nemesis which cast could seem like a mini sci-fi Expendables. In addition to Gruner, fellow C-list action stars Kevin Sorbo, Sasha Mitchell and Michael Paré also joins in on the fun. We know what we can expect from a Albert Pyun sci-fi actioner; a lot of breathtaking and interesting shots on a tight budget. The release date of Cyborg Nemesis is still up in the air due to Pyuns mentioned health issues, but 2014 looks like it could be a possibility.
