10 Potentially Awesome DTV Action Movies Coming In 2014
4. Sniper 5
The only thing known about the film at this point is that Tom Berenger is returning as Thomas Beckett after sitting the fourth entry of the Sniper franchise out, and that Don Michael Paul of Half Past Dead fame is directing. The first Sniper movie came out back in 1993 and was followed by two surprisingly good DTV sequels about a decade later. Even Sniper: Reloaded was not bad despite not starring Berenger. So it will be interesting to see if Sniper 5 can keep the good form of the franchise going. Sniper 5 has been filming in Bulgaria since November, but details regarding the plot have yet to be released, but who cares Its just nice to see Berenger back in a leading role again.
