10 Potentially Awesome DTV Action Movies Coming In 2014
3. A Pound Of Flesh
Not much is known about this project yet as it was just announced a few weeks ago, but the plot sounds like a fun adrenalin fueled ride filled with lots of mayhem! Van Damme is playing Deacon, a former black-ops agent who is in China to donate his kidney to his dying niece, but instead he becomes a victim of organ theft. Now it is a race against time to find his stolen kidney before his nieces operation or before he loses too much blood. Deacon is pissed-off and will do whatever is necessary to find his kidney including putting a quick stop to anyone who crosses his path. Like every Van Damme movie this also stars his son, Kristopher Van Varenberg. Basically this sounds like a movie in line of Crank. It could be all kinds of awesome to see Van Damme in a role like Stathams Chev Chelios. I can only imagine what kind of crazy and eccentric stuff Van Damme and his accent will cook up for this one!
