4. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdon
What's It About
Following the events of 2015's roaring reboot, Fallen Kingdom is a Jurassic Park movie that looks to be like no other entry in the series. As seen in the recent trailer, the sequel will leave the confines of a park setting with Claire Dearing luring a reluctant Owen Grady back to Isla Nuber one more time. Their mission: to rescue the dinosaurs.
Who's In It?
Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard return as mismatched lovebirds Owen and Claire and they are joined again by B. D. Wong - last seen being a bit of a baddie park pooper - and franchise returnee Jeff Goldblum as fan favourite, Ian Malcolm. Trevorrow has stepped down as director but in his place is a tantalising prospect in J. A. Bayona, previously seen scaring us senseless in The Orphanage and getting us all sad in A Monster Calls.
Why It'll Be Awesome
After four movies sunning it up in the Isla Nuber region, while the first half of the movie looks to be park-based, rumour has we're due a change of sceneray with Trevorrow hinting at a sharp change in locale, tone (it's going to be darker) and the prospect of weaponised dinos. If that doesn't sell it to you, word is the gobby Dilophosaurus is set to make a return.
