Why It Will Be Iconic: Because Assassin's Creed is an insanely popular video game franchise that prides itself on the player's ability to perform awesome kills, and it goes without saying that the movie will want to prove it can replicate the game's style right out of the gate.
Aguilar's first kill will surely be a doozy, likely an elaborate assassination sequence that ends with an over-the-top leap-stab combination just as in so many sequences from the games.
It needs to set the tone for the rest of the movie, and if it's as awesome as it potentially could be, it may let us know early on that we're about to see the first genuinely good video game movie. With Michael Fassbender playing Aguilar and Justin Kurzel directing, there's a lot to be hopeful for.
