6. Tobias Beckett - Solo: A Star Wars Story

Solo being a prequel and all means that just about any newly-introduced character - who therefore doesn't appear in any subsequent Star Wars movie - is ripe for dying.

While it's possible that Han's love interest Qi'ra (Emilia Clarke) will bite the dust, it's really more probable she'll simply end up estranged from Han and live out her life elsewhere. A far more likely candidate for death, then, is Han's wily mentor, Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson).

We don't know much about Beckett yet, but given the propensity for mentor characters to die in both Star Wars and fiction in general, his chances of surviving the movie are basically slim-to-none.

Sure, Lucasfilm could subvert expectations and have Qi'ra die instead, but given the popularity of Game of Thrones and all, they'll probably want to keep Clarke's character alive just in case they want her to appear in some sort of sequel or spin-off.

Harrelson, as the grizzled, middle-aged veteran smuggler, is toast.
