4. August Walker - Mission: Impossible - Fallout

From what's been shown off so far, Henry Cavill has the potential to be the best Mission: Impossible antagonist yet as August Walker, a hulking CIA operative who desperately wants to eliminate Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) at any and all costs.

Walker looks like an absolute monster in the trailers, and it's clear he's going to get one hell of a death scene when his number is finally, inevitably up.

In one memorable image, Walker can be seen hanging out of a helicopter and firing a giant machine gun at Hunt, who is himself flying his own chopper. Whether this is the final showdown or not, there's no way the guy's going down without a fight, and it's hard to imagine him being taken alive either.

After previous villain deaths in the series have included death by explosive chewing gum and death by voluntary leap from a car park, there's certainly a lot to live up to here. But you know it'll probably be one for the ages.
