10 Predictions For 2019's Most Iconic Movie Deaths
5. John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) - Rambo V: Last Blood
With the upcoming fifth Rambo film apparently being the "final" entry into the action thriller series, there's been intense speculation about whether or not John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) will survive the movie in tact.
With Stallone insisting that the tone will be similar to No Country for Old Men, it certainly implies a bleaker, less flippant attitude towards violence than in most of the other sequels, and this could very well mean that the PTSD-addled vet is finally taken down for good.
After all, how realistic is it that a 70-something Rambo comes out on top against a Mexican cartel without a scratch? It'd make far more sense that he gets the job done but is mortally wounded in the process.
And while audiences would've balked at Stallone killing off Rocky Balboa in the Creed movies, it feels like a far more appropriate end for Rambo, a man whose life was so defined by violence.
