10 Predictions For Marvel Cinematic Universe's Future
8. Dr. Strange, Black Panther, And Spider-Man Join Avengers
In the comics, over the past few years, it’s become the case that practically every superhero on Earth is considered a member of the Avengers. When there’s a call of “Avengers Assemble,” there’s a double page spread with every single hero in the Marvel Universe.
The movies seem to be heading in the same direction since even Spider-Man has a link to the team weaved into the fabric of his character. He’s practically Iron Man’s protege and owes him his snazzy costume. Dr. Strange seemed to be completely separate from the Avengers’ world, but he’ll be teaming up with Thor and his association with the Time Stone means he’ll be crossing their paths sooner or later.
Black Panther has already joined Cap’s Secret Avengers, and Tony will be looking to fill up his own roster; Spidey and Strange are perfect choices. Strange has the potential to be a real powerhouse once he becomes Sorcerer Supreme. A threat like the Hulk is child’s play to him.
Since it’s likely a few of the actors involved with these movies will want to leave once their contracts are up, once the dust has settled over the Infinity Gauntlet, there will probably be a new Avengers team formed - not a “New Avengers” team, a new “Avengers,” made up of members from both Cap and Tony’s teams, which is fitting since Cap and Tony probably won’t be around.
Eventually Tony will be too old for this poop and President Steve Rogers has a nice ring to it.
