Unbeknownst to Sawyer, she inadvertently signs herself over for clinical observation for twenty-four hours, with any outbursts or failure to comply resulting in further incarceration.
Director Stephen Soderberg made the bold decision to shoot the film entirely on an iPhone 7 Plus, the result of which is decidedly eerie, giving us that authentic fly on the wall experience. This unconventional shooting style is arguably the film's biggest strength as well its most glaring fault as some of the visuals can come across like a low-quality VHS release.

It's the kind of low-key affair that forgoes violence and bloodshed in favour of bum-clenching tension and intense bouts of paranoia that will keep your palms sweaty until the very end.
