The last time fans saw Bucky Barnes he was being placed in cold storage in Wakanda, giving new meaning to the name Winter Soldier.
Sebastian Stan's character willingly volunteers for deep freeze until a cure for the brainwashing he received courtesy of HYRDA is discovered.
Although he has broken free of the terrorist organisation, a set of Russian code words still has the potential to turn him back into a killing machine.
Presumably Wakanda's scientists are hard at work on a solution, but the matter will go unaddressed in the upcoming Black Panther movie, since Stan has confirmed that he will not be thawed out for what would be a rather damp cameo.
This begs the question of whether the greatest minds at T'Challa's disposal are capable of cracking this conundrum, or does somebody else hold the key freeing Bucky once and for all so he can line up for battle in Infinity War?
Doctor Strange, for instance, probably has a spell or two up his sleeve that could help, but do the Wakandans need any assitance given the technology at their disposal?
