It shouldn't be surprising to anyone that the biggest action stars on the planet have fittingly planet-sized egos, especially the stars of the Fast and the Furious series, Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel, and Jason Statham.

Back in 2019, it was reported that the actors are so fiercely protective over their brands as tough guys that they actually have a contractually stipulated threshold for how much physical punishment their characters can endure during fights.

The story states that Diesel even went as far as to devise a rating system to keep count of how much each actor was hit, kicked, and headbutted to ensure the men received an equal amount of damage.

This system was reportedly rubbished eventually, though producer Michael Fottrell did confirm that the series' fights are choreographed to ensure that none of the bigger stars end up losing outright.

As ludicrous as this all sounds, it makes a tad more sense considering the well-documented spats between Diesel and Johnson during production, each presumably wanting to protect their own image and not give anything up to the other.
