10 Reasons Why Batman Fans Are Always Wrong About Everything

1. Anyone Could Be Batman

This one phrase is perhaps what makes Batman such a fan-favourite: He's the everyman of comics. An everyman with billions of dollars in the bank. "If I tried hard enough, trained hard enough, I could be Batman" is a commonplace sentences amongst fans. But in reality, no, you couldn't. I hate to burst your bubble, but Bill Gates has all the resources and money, and he's not Batman, nor will he ever be. Okay, Gates had to amass his fortune during his lifetime and did not have time to train physically, but what if his son used the resources his dad gathered to then become Batman? His son would then have to master computer science much like his father, as well as criminology, forensics, chemistry, biology, botany, medicine, psychology, languages, and engineering fields such as civil, electrical and mechanical. Bruce Wayne may not have a doctorates in all of these fields, but he certainly knows more than most. And on top of the random luck of having that immense brain storage and the eidetic memory to recall it all when required, you have to be an Olympic-level athlete and have mastered physical skills including: man-hunting, rappelling, parkour, reconnaissance, ninjutsu, archery, knife-throwing, magician-level escapism... you get where I'm going with this. So in actuality, sure, someone could become Batman. But not anyone. And unfortunately, it probably won't be you. If you're capable of all of the above and have the financing, however, feel free to give it a go. Like this article? Let us know in the comments section below.
