10 Reasons Batman V Superman's Ending Is The Stupidest Part Of The Film

4. Lex Doesn't Lose His Hair

Lex Luthor may have sported a mop of blonde hair in all the trailers, but throughout the marketing we knew he wouldn't stay that way - the very first shot of Jesse Eisenberg in the role had him menacingly bald. This promised not only some serious hair-loss, but teased the prospect of a hidden psycho under the zany outer performance. Well, unlucky, because not only was Lex's evil no more complicated than channelling Max Landis, the reasoning behind his dome was equally as lacklustre; not revealing his hair as a wig or having his Kryptonian meddling eventually take its toll, Batman V Superman simply shaved off Lex's hair when he got sent to prison. I guess it's good that it's against his will, but to have it happen in such an unceremonious manner in a scene that feels like a last minute addition (what's the betting the script was written with a bald Lex in mind?) is a total waste. It's not like there's any comic grounding for it either - all main versions of the character had it burnt off or simply an accepted fact. What makes it so dumbfounding is that it's not even permanent - he can just grow it back. I mean, c'mon!
