10 Reasons Why Batman vs Superman Might Actually Be Delayed
Not that Warner Bros. would ever admit to any of these...
The ever-surprising production of the upcoming Batman vs. Superman movie continues to shock, as it was announced this weekend that the project has been delayed a whole 10 months, from July 2015 to May 6th, 2016. It was speculated by many websites that this was because of a leg injury sustained by Ben Affleck, then it was a rib injury, and then Warner Bros. declared a statement rubbishing these claims, stating that the reason for the delay was to "allow the filmmakers time to realise fully their vision, given the complex visual nature of the story". While many will take that with a pinch of salt, fans have gotten to wondering - what is the real reason behind this sudden stall in production? A rib injury shouldn't require a 10 month delay, and regarding Warner's statement, it has caused many to suspect that there's something very wrong on a creative side that needs to be rectified. We can all hope that this is just for the best and we'll get a superior film as a result, but here are some of the possible reasons why Warner might have held off on getting the ball rolling. As usual, feel free to speculate with your own ideas in the comments!
