2. He's Hated By Everyone With A Vowel In Their Name
Being a superhero is tough work. Putting your body on the line night after night in order to defend your city and its people can be quite painful after a while. It's OK though all of that hard work is all going to be worth it when the people you are standing up for cheer for you and show their appreciation for the things they've done right? Wrong. This is Batman, not Disney. It doesn't matter how many good things Batman does for the people of Gotham because somehow and someway someone will find a way to put a negative twist on his good deeds. No matter how honest Batman's intentions are or how much he sacrifices himself the public will never know the true story. All of the knowledge that the public gains as far as Batman's activities are concerned is always after the fact. It's like one big game of telephone and by the time it gets to the end no matter how good his deed was, Batman ends up looking like the bad guy. There is something to be said about the hero who keeps putting himself on the line without getting any credit. Someone who can do good deeds for an entire city of people and not care that they still hate him is truly someone special. Still it must suck to know everyone thinks you're a douchebag when really you're just looking out for their best interests. Thanks for reading! Do you have any other reasons why being Batman might suck?
