5. He Can Draw From The Others

As we said earlier, there have been plenty of actors who have portrayed the Dark Knight. Ben Affleck has the benefit of having seen these previous incarnations and reviewing the criticism to draw the best bits of them all. Few would deny that Adam West was overly camp, and few would deny that Christian Bale could have done with lightening up a little bit; especially on the animalistic growl of his Batman voice. Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer were relatively reserved, and the less said of George Clooney€™s Batman the better. Affleck€™s performance will be his own. It€™s highly unlikely that he will be imitating the grittiness of Bale€™s performance, and he would be a fool to hark back to the classic Tim Burton Batman days. He€™s a talented actor who will make the character his own, but he has the fortunate ability to look at former performances and draw the best bits of all of these actors, and intertwine them into his own phenomenal interpretation.
