6. Danvers Is An Easy Blend Of Marvel 616 And Ultimate
The MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) is more or less a combination of Marvel's main universe The 616 and The Ultimate Universe a mostly updated retelling of classic stories. The Ultimate Universe is where we got a Black Nick Fury and a Blob that was a cannibal (you know, cause fat people can get that hungry). In the MCU some characters lean in one universe more than the others and some are near perfect blends (Captain America splits right down the middle while Thor is far more based in the 616 for example). While Carol Danvers has been featured in The Ultimate Universe her long history as a hero is deeply rooted in the classic 616. However The Falcon character that is set to appear in the next Captain America film is not only the complete Ultimate version (thank God), but shares his debut with one Carol Danvers in the comics. With a much stronger link to the structure of the MCU than say, six rag-tag pseudo-alien adventurers, Carol makes a strong case for easily making the jump into silver screen stardom. Now for 5 slightly more obscure awesome reasons this would be a great idea.
Dante R Maddox got started in writing about pop culture in 2007. He developed his conversational style majoring in English and minoring in speech communication, his desire to write as if he were speaking to the reader face to face was the bane of many professors. An odd blend of geek cred and regular fella chic', you're just as likely to end up talking about baseball or politics as you are about comic books and movies (just don't mention Tucker Carlson, you are addressing the man who will go to jail for assault in the future after all). He wrote a book called The Lineage of Durge that's available on Amazon for a small amount of money, he's writing a second while acting as Editor-in-Stuff over at Saga Online Press, there is a graphic novel expansion of his book series also in the works as well as continued development of his cheesecannon, one day Canada...one day (Seriously, a piece of ham, you slice it up and now it's bacon?!?!? I say thee nay!!!)
