10 Reasons DCEU Movies Will Never Catch Up To The MCU

1. Superman Is M.I.A.

Henry Cavill may have joined Zack Snyder for his recent, unofficial Man of Steel watch party, but that could be the closest the hunky British actor gets to Superman for the foreseeable future. On countless occasions, it's been reported that financial disputes with Warner Bros. have resulted in his time as the iconic superhero coming to an end, and that's grave error on the studio's part.

Superman is a character who should not only be the star of his own movie, but someone an entire slate of spinoffs revolves around (think Supergirl, Superboy, and even the Legion of Superheroes). Instead, regardless of who wears the cape, he's been put on a shelf and largely forgotten about.

It's true that not every Superman movie has made an impact at the box office, but there are plenty of A-List filmmakers out there who would like to take a crack at the hero, and it's baffling that Harley Quinn, Black Adam, and Aquaman are all bigger priorities for Warner Bros. The Superman franchise should be bigger than The Avengers, but without it, the DCEU can never hope to rival the MCU.
