If you want epic action, forget the Avengers - watch Guardians of the Galaxy. The action scenes in this movie were downright spectacular. Everything from the well-choreographed smaller-scale fights - such as those between Drax and Ronan, the Guardians and the Sakaraans and Nebula and Gamora - to the larger scale battle between the Guardians, the Ravagers, the Nova Corps and Ronan's forces were done to perfection. The high-impact punches and kicks, the energy blasts that were flying around, the explosions and large scale destruction and the fleets of space vehicles zooming around were so exceptionally visually impressive that they put the battle of New York between the Avengers and the Chitauri to shame. This movie really was Star Wars-meets-comic book superheroes and the blend was perfect in every sense. Watch it - you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll sing, you'll scream and you'll cheer. And you'll definitely never look at the Avengers movie in the same doting way again. So there you have it - ten reasons why Guardians of the Galaxy is better than The Avengers.
