10 Reasons Guardians Of The Galaxy Is Better Than The Avengers

2. Its Star Might Even Be Better

Robert Downey, Jr. has undoubtedly been the star of the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far. His Tony Stark is charismatic, funny, witty and just an outright legend. His popularity is closely followed by that of Tom Hiddleston's Loki - the villainous Frost Giant/Asgardian has become a surprise hit thanks to Hiddleston's charming and humorous portrayal - but in Chris Pratt's Peter Quill we may have a new face of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Parks and Recreation star stole the show in Guardians of the Galaxy, coming across as charming, funny, mischievous, formidable and just totally likeable all at the same time. He made us laugh in this one movie more than any other character has in the entire six years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date - and, as a result, Downey, Jr.'s Tony Stark definitely has a rival on his hands. With a wonderful supporting cast that only served to help Pratt's portrayal, thanks to a great all-round on-screen chemistry between them all, we can't wait to see the Guardians again and, when they finally meet the Avengers (probably in the third Avengers movie), there will be some fantastic interactions - not least involving Peter Quill.
