6. He Has Been In A Few Embarrassing Situations
Marvel StudiosFor someone who - at least in his own eyes - the universe is meant to be terrified of, Loki has found himself in a number of situations in which the only thing any onlooker could possibly do is laugh at him. In the first Thor movie, after a conflict with his adopted brother, Thor placed the immovable Mjolnir on top of him, which rendered him completely stuck - pinned to the floor like a lightweight wrestler under Andre the Giant's three-count. Perhaps even more embarrassingly, when he attempted to use his sceptre to mind-control Tony Stark in the Avengers movie - when he had apparently done his research on the Avengers - he didn't even realise why it wasn't working (failing to acknowledge the arc reactor in Tony's chest - one of the key aspects of his very being) and Tony mocked him for his "performance issues". And then there was the fact that Hulk threw him around like a rag doll and referred to him as "puny god" in the same movie (and Nick Fury's comment about "real power wanting a magazine" will never be lived down). Essentially, in order to be truly taken seriously as a villain, he must stop getting in to these embarrassing situations.
