10 Reasons Miles Morales Shouldn't Be Spider-Man In Civil War

1. He's Not Peter Parker!

It's as simple as that. Miles Morales is a character with a lot of good points, and one it would be interesting to see on the big screen at some point in the future, but perhaps as a supporting character or in a spinoff. There's something about Peter Parker which just makes him great, and while that could be something which will click with Miles if he's still around a decade from now, it hasn't yet. The Amazing Spider-Man on the other hand has "it". Peter has a lasting appeal which has seen him consistently remain one of the world's most popular and beloved superheroes. A very human hero, he's struggled in face of adversity more times than can be counted, and has earned his place as one of the centrepieces of the Marvel Universe. Him taking on that role on the big screen is long overdue, and this deal will finally allow Spider-Man to assemble with the rest of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Can you think of anything more exciting than Peter Parker in the classic red and blue suit standing alongside his fellow Avengers as they take on Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War?
